The story behind it started almost by accident, with a study of special two tone materials, so rigid and dense that they were washed extensively with pumice stones to tame their structure. The result is surprising, a garment that seems worn-in and completely fascinating. Seven down jackets in this unique fabric were created, and named Tela Stella. Thus it was born, the first collection with a strong marine identity that needed an important name. This was chosen by analyzing the most recurring words in the novels of Joseph Conrad: Stone and Island. At which point, personalization that was just as strong became necessary, like the badge, a label held on by two buttons showing the Wind Rose and acting as the insignia of a military captain.
ZZegna company was founded in 1910 by Ermenegildo Zegna. At the age of 18 he founded the Lanificio Zegna (wool mill) and what was to become one of Italy’s best known and most dynamic family businesses. He had a dream that he would make, in his own words, ‘the most beautiful fabrics in the world'.
Paul & Shark
Paul & Shark traces its roots (circa 1921) to a traditional woollen mill in a village outside Milan. It was only in the 1970s that the firm began to explore the world of men’s sportswear, taking its new name from a rare sail used in old square rigger ships. Today, that sporty style and many of the clothing’s technical attributes contribute to Paul & Shark’s world-renowned lines of luxury menswear – sweaters, coats, trousers and accessories that look just as appropriate on city streets as on board a yacht.

Red Wing Shoes
Excellence is a standard which transcends the test of time. For over a century Red Wing purpose-built footwear has been at the spearhead of innovation in the standard of excellence for work boots.
At the turn of the 20th century a shoe merchant named Charles Beckman in Red Wing, Minnesota saw a local necessity for shoes specifically designed for the demanding work of industries such as mining, logging and farming. The rigors of these jobs required footwear which was tough enough to outlast harsh working conditions, but Beckman envisioned a shoe that was also comfortable enough for the hardworking people who wore them. Beckman set out to develop work boots to fill this need and in 1905 he opened a company that would change the market. Beckman named his company Red Wing Shoes, and a new standard for excellence was born.
Over 110 years has passed since our founding and our commitment to producing only the highest grade footwear remains as unwavering as Beckman's vision. Our products consistently perform in environments spanning from the Mideast oil fields to the Midwest corn fields. Still headquartered in Red Wing, Minnesota, Red Wing boots protect workers in more than one hundred countries across the world, an accomplishment built by years of hard work, endurance, and the promise to never compromise on our quality.
A testament to that promise can be found in our Heritage collection which is made up of footwear that represents the American ideals of prosperous work and excellence. As can our use of premium Red Wing Shoe Leather from our very own S.B. Foot Tannery.
Based in London, Orlebar Brown launched in March 2007 as a more tailored approach to men’s beach and swim shorts. Not so much a swim short but a ‘short you can swim in’, offering something you can wear on the beach, by the pool and then smart enough to go and have a drink or lunch.
Having initially focused on tailored shorts, the range evolved into a full resort collection influenced by 1960’s poolside utopia. The OB world draws inspiration from Slim Aarons’ iconic pictures of Riviera and Palm Beach life during the decade. Not just a smarter look but a reminder of the sophistication that once went with travel and holidays.

Originality oftentimes means being first, and SAXX’s heritage of revolutionizing underwear goes back 10 years.
In 2006, Trent Kitsch was on an Alaskan fishing expedition and after spending hours in a cold, clammy ocean suit he knew there had to be a better way to protect his package from chafing. A former baseball player, he imagined a catcher’s mitt hammock design and turned it upside down in his mind. After the fishing trip, and with the hammock idea still percolating, he worked with a seamstress and designer - and himself as the fit model - to create a panelled fabric hammock that separated his balls from his legs. Fourteen prototypes later, the BallPark™ Pouch and SAXX Underwear was ready for action.
Today, our focus remains the same. To equip you with game changing, next-level apparel that allows you to move freely, without restriction - apparel that feels like it’s barely there, that elevates your everyday experiences and that just work.
